The vaccine is a solution
As I have been moving around horses since childhood, I make sure to get revaccinated with a tetanus vaccine every 10 years. When I was 18, I was in Nicaragua and had a yellow fever for the first time. And since I have traveled a lot before the coronavirus crisis outbreak, I am also vaccinated against both hepatitis A and B. After the European Medicines Agency (together with experts from all EU Member States) has approved several covid-19 vaccines, I am not afraid to be vaccinated with any of them.
Thanks to scientific knowledge and vaccination, mankind has eradicated several diseases that have previously mangled and killed us. I am grateful that we live in an era when this is no longer is the case.
